300 Days – FAQ

Q: What kind of TTRPG system does 300 Days use?

A: 300 Days uses the YZE (Year Zero Engine) system, released under Free League Publishing’s Free Tabletop License. The system provides a flexible and narrative-focused framework for character interactions, and exploration. A d6 dice pool system determines the success and failure of character actions.

Q: Can you tell me more about the setting of 300 Days?

A: 300 Days is set in a desolate version of The United States, devastated by a second civil war. The remnants of society struggle for survival. The setting presented in the book takes place in Colorado. But, you can play 300 Days in any setting you prefer.  Some pop culture influences for the game include; The Road, Station 11, and The Bad Batch.

Q: Are there any supernatural elements present in the game?

A: No. 300 Days avoids supernatural elements. In this game, environmental hazards and other people are the greatest threats. Gameplay focuses on surviving a war-torn, post-apocalyptic world. There are no zombies, eldritch horrors, or other supernatural entities.

A: There are five main factions that provide a wide variety of driving narrative fronts. Interactions with these factions can range from hostile to helpful. Whether the characters can join these factions is up to the GM.
