You Are Not a Hero

300 Days is a dystopian, post-apocalyptic tabletop RPG, powered by the Year Zero Engine, with a modified ruleset to keep the focus on narrative-driven gameplay.

The players take on the role of desperate survivors, grasping at their last shreds of humanity, in a hostile and war-torn version of the United States.

You are not a mythic knight in shining armor, on a mission to vanquish evil. You are a vulnerable human, struggling to stay alive in a hostile world.

Scarcity and Brutality are the Norm

Food, water, supplies, and even trust are precious commodities. But death is certain without them. Those who control resources wield tremendous power. The strong prey on the weak. And the weak are beholden to the strong.

The characters must survive by finding or constructing shelter, gathering resources, and evading the persistent threat of death. It will take every ounce of their grit and determination.

The Goal is to Survive, Not Thrive

The “American Dream” of prosperity is a distant memory, if a memory at all. And the thought of anything more than simply living another day is a luxury that few can afford.

The game focuses on exploration and survival, with rules for travel, foraging, crafting, stress, and critical injuries.

The bleak world of 300 Days is populated with five factions that the characters can engage. Their dispositions range from hostile to helpful.

Death is Coming

The only constant in 300 Days is the ever-present specter of death, looming over every decision and action. Whether from hunger, thirst, injury, illness, or violence; no one is safe from the inevitability of their own mortality.

The game is designed to constantly pressure the players to make life-and-death decisions. Resources are scarce, and combat is deadly.

Everything that isn’t you, is trying to kill you.
